New Antenna brands signal strength for the Amber Technology portfolio

Amber Technology appointed as distributor for international antenna brands

Today, Amber Technology announced their appointment as distributors for MARS Antennas, MP Antenna and BATS Tracking Antenna Systems, adding to their existing broad portfolio of communication and broadcast solutions for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Israeli-based MARS Antennas, bringing MARS’ complete range of antennas and antenna systems to Australia and New Zealand. MARS manufacture multiple polarization subscriber and sector antennas covering frequency ranges from 380MHz and up to 12GHz (700MHz, 915MHz, 2.4GHz, 3.5GHz, 4.9GHz, 5.8-6.1GHz, 7GHz and 10GHz). Primarily targeted at the rapidly growing LTE, fixed and mobile applications markets, the wide range also covers a host of other RF applications ranging from domestic through Security and Military.

Mars also has a strong line of In-Building antennas, Triple / Quad & Five Polarization MIMO antennas which are compatible with the new IEEE 802.11ac. and repeaters for cellular and WI-FI coverage. Internationally Mars' customers include market leaders such as Cambium, Proxim, Infinet Wireless, Motorola Solutions, Ruckus, Aruba, Alcatel Lucent, Juniper, Exalt and Airspan.

Ohio-based MP Antennas brings a unique Multi-Polarized antenna technology to the broad range of commercial MIMO Radio installers in Australia and New Zealand. MP Antenna manufactures Multi-Polarized Antennas from 25 MHz to 6 GHz for applications such as GPS, WiFi, all 802.11, 3G Cellular GSM/CDMA, 4G LTE, LTE-A, XLTE, WiMax, ISM, UHF, and VHF.

MP Antenna products use the latest antenna technologies to improve signal strength, penetration, and connectivity in the most dynamic environments. The patented antennas outperform all other NLOS purported antennas in quality, connectivity, and reliability while providing network users with increased data throughput, enhanced voice clarity and multi-path mitigation.

"We are delighted to partner with a leading distributor of Broadcast, Media and A/V Technology. This partnership expands MP Antenna’s already broad footprint and will accelerate our growth into new markets in Australia and New Zealand" said Adam Doskocil, CEO of MP Antennas.

Indiana-based BATS Tracking Antenna Systems, bringing BATS’ complete range of auto-tracking systems to Australia and New Zealand. Manufactured in Indianapolis, BATS automatically stabilizes, optimizes, and tracks broadband communication links that allow for improved communication distances, additional mobility to terrestrial-based communication systems, and increased bandwidth to end users. BATS technology can extend, offset, or aggregate a variety of network resources, ranging from fiber, Ethernet, WiFi, LTE, WiMax, microwave, or satellite; and can deliver up to gigabit connectivity.

BATS’ industry-leading technology is sold in the energy, defence (military and homeland security), cruise, mining, broadcasting, Emergency Services and ferry markets worldwide.

“The addition of MARS Antennas, leaders in antenna design and manufacturing in the Broadband Wireless Panel Antennas market; MP Antennas who offer unique advantages over conventional antennas, particularly in congested or multi-path environments; and the BATS Wireless system providing a proprietary software and hardware platform that locates, locks, and tracks wireless broadband communication access point, gives the Amber Technology portfolio the ability to offer local sourcing, supply and support for these exceptional, high quality brands.” said Ross Caston, General Manager of Media Systems at Amber Technology.

“We are delighted to be able to provide a total solution for the broadcast, data and communications industries with these brands”.

Amber Technology will be introducing these new products on Stand AIDN 18 at Pacific 15 International Maritime Exhibition, to be held at Sydney Exhibition Centre Glebe Island on October 6-8, 2015.
