The Headload™ is a power attenuator that connects between your amplifier and speaker to capture the dynamics and warmth of your amp at low, neighbour-friendly volumes.
Featuring two built-in JDX amp DIs—one pre-EQ and one post-EQ—the Headload eliminates the need to use a microphone to capture the sound from your amplifier. Should you decide to combine the DI signal with a microphone, the Headload is augmented with a built-in Radial Phazer to time-align the two signals to create massive tones. The Headload uses a 6-position rotary switch to set the desired power reduction from unaltered all the way down to complete silence. When the output is completely soaked, the high-quality headphone amplifier can be used for silent 3:00AM practicing.
The Headload lets you reduce the output level going to your speaker cabinet for a more controlled stage sound. This makes it easier for the engineer to mix.
Use the Headload as a 'dummy load' by turning the speakers off and record in complete silence via the built-in Radial JDX Reactor. Works great on guitar and bass!
For the absolute best tone, combine the direct feed from the JDX with a mic and then phase align the two signals using the built-in Radial Phazer. Be prepared for madness!

The Headload Prodigy™ is a combination load box and DI that lets you drive your guitar amp at a higher output in order to maximize the tone, yet produce a lower stage volume when needed.
The JDX48 is an amplifier DI box which connects between the amp head and a speaker cabinet, capturing the tone of your amp without the need for a microphone.
The Direct-Drive is a combination amp simulator and DI box that provides a realistic amp sound through the PA, eliminating the need to bring an amp to the gig.
The Cab-Link provides a simple and compact solution for players who have a single speaker output on their amplifier but want to connect two cabinets simultaneously.

Orders placed though the Amber Technology website are despatched from our Sydney warehouse. Orders placed before 1.00pm Sydney time (for items in stock) will generally be shipped on the same day.
We ship using Startrack Express. We deliver Australia-wide to residential, business and PO box addresses.
Shipping is free for all orders over $275 including GST (effective 1 March 2018). There is a $22 (including GST) shipping and handling charge for all orders under $275 including GST.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. All items purchased from Amber Technology will be covered under warranty. The duration and terms of this warranty are specified by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated. Warranty information is available on the individual product listings on this site.

The availability of stock is communicated via the indicator of each product listing page. "Available" means that reasonable stock is in our warehouse, ready for immediate shipment.
