Built on the Pure Path circuit design philosophy, it offers a rich, expansive soundstage with precise image placement, enhancing the listening experience. Internally, the amplifier is powered by a custom-designed ultra-low-noise toroidal transformer, strategically positioned to deliver substantial power effortlessly, unlocking the full potential of music. Its high-performance circuitry minimizes the need for feedback, resulting in exceptionally low distortion and a broad bandwidth. By utilizing a high bias current, the amplifier achieves outstanding linearity and responsiveness, making it resilient to parasitic capacitances and capable of rapid voltage changes. These design elements exemplify the Mark Levinson amplification ethos of effortless performance, clarity, and smoothness across the entire frequency spectrum, regardless of load or volume.
The floorstanding chassis of the № 631 features a modular design that effectively separates critical low-level analog components from the power supply, with these components mounted on rubber isolators to reduce interference. Additionally, the amplifier incorporates Mark Levinson’s advanced vibration-damping foot design, ensuring a stable and decoupled connection to its supporting surface.
Visually, the Tectonic exterior design showcases an aluminum and steel chassis finished in black, complemented by a silver plinth. A striking glass center panel descends the front, highlighted by red lighting on either side, creating a captivating focal point. The top panel features a glass Core element with red accents, surrounded by ample ventilation and custom heat sink side panels, optimizing thermal management for peak performance.

Orders placed though the Amber Technology website are despatched from our Sydney warehouse. Orders placed before 1.00pm Sydney time (for items in stock) will generally be shipped on the same day.
We ship using Startrack Express. We deliver Australia-wide to residential, business and PO box addresses.
Shipping is free for all orders over $1100 including GST (effective 1 April 2026). There is a $33 (including GST) shipping and handling charge for all orders under $1100 including GST.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The availability of stock is communicated via the indicator of each product listing page. "Available" means that reasonable stock is in our warehouse, ready for immediate shipment. "Limited Stock" means that we have only a small number of items in stock. "Out of Stock" means this item is currently unavailable for immediate shipment - orders placed for ‘Out of Stock’ items will be fulfilled as soon as replacement stock arrives.
"Special Order” items are products that are not generally kept in stock in Australia. Lead times for Special Order items vary depending on country of origin, manufacturer’s stock levels, factory production schedules and/or incoming shipment transit times. Please contact us for an estimate as to the likely lead time. Please note that finalized sales for special order items cannot be cancelled.
